Department of Biomedical Engineering
Founded in 1997, our ABET-accredited biomedical engineering department benefits from an extensive and collegial relationship with our world-renowned medical school. We now have 15 full-time faculty and more than 300 undergraduate and 80 graduate students. The Uncas A. Whitaker Hall for Biomedical Engineering, completed in 2002, is the home for our teaching and research activities.
