  • The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is pleased to invite you to participate in the 2008 BMES Annual Fall Meeting, October 2-4, 2008 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel, St. Louis, MO.

    Befitting St. Louis being the "Gateway to the West", our theme for this year's meeting, "Gateway to Innovation", highlights the innovations and discoveries that will help turn the promises into reality. This annual meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society, the lead society for the field, brings together academic leaders, trainees and businesses for three plus days of focused but exhilarating discussions and presentations of the newest ideas, discoveries and products in this booming field.

    BMES has an international membership of over 3,500 members. BMES members are leaders and decision makers in research, design, and applications of medical technology. This 2008 meeting is expected to attract more than 2,400 participants from all over the world representing a wide variety of practicing engineers from biomedical, electrical, chemical, mechanical, and other engineering fields, as well as medical specialists. The undergraduate and graduate student attendees are prospective engineers to recruit for employees.

    This meeting will highlight hundreds of scientific posters with increased visibility for exhibitors as exhibits, table tops and scientific posters will be displayed together in the Majestic Ballroom of the Renaissance Grand Hotel.     Exhibitors can demonstrate products to researchers in all areas of biomedical engineering. Exhibit booths are assigned location on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications must be received, along with a 50% required deposit by March 1, 2008. The remaining 50% is required no later than May 1, 2008. After May 1, 2008 full payment is required and must be accompanied by contract.
