New Faculty Member

1/20/2012

Kristen M. Naegle earned her BS and MS degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Washington and her PhD in biological engineering from Douglas Lauffenberger's group at MIT. She has joined our faculty as an Assistant Professor, after completing her postdoctoral fellowship in Michael Yaffe's laboratory -- also at MIT.

Kristen's research efforts combine computational and experimental approaches to probe the mechanistic aspects of cell networks and their influences on cell function in diseases such as cancer, diabetes and neurodegeneration. She is a core member of our newly-formed Center for Biological Systems Engineering. Please welcome her to our dynamic and growing department.
