BMES Student Chapter

The Biomedical Engineering Society at Washington University in St. Louis is a group of talented students interested in careers in biomedical sciences.

As an organization, we seek to promote professional development and help students discover and explore their academic and professional interests. We also hope to foster camaraderie within the biomedical engineering community and facilitate communication and networking opportunities between students, faculty and professors.

Fall 2019 Events

  • Fall Activities Fair
    4 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30
    Find the BMES table at the Activities Fair. There will be merch and information about upcoming events.
  • Welcome Back
    4 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4, in the Whitaker Atrium
    Join BMES in kicking off the 2019-2020 school year. There will be food and games. This event serves as an opportunity for BME students of all years to mingle.
  • First General Body Meeting
    6 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11
    Join us for our first general body meeting, and learn more about BMES and the exciting plans we have for the year. Also gain valuable tips on navigating the career fair, searching for jobs and developing an elevator pitch from the Career Center.
